Mr. Wellage throughout his career has been with Major Airlines commencing with Flying Tigers over 30 years ago. Subsequently he joined American Airlines and through his untiring efforts developed American Airlines as the No.1 offline carrier in Sri Lanka. He was also responsible for developing sales for Cargolux and DHL Airways in Sri Lanka and it is his singular effort and initiative that established Cargolux as a reliable and committed airline serving the cargo industry in Sri Lanka. Though offline Cargolux is now a preferred carrier and this fact alone speaks volumes of his capabilities.
