Our Story
Forwardair Aviation Group was formed in 2003 with the main purpose of business being represent airlines as its Cargo General Sales Agent (GSA) or Cargo Sales Agent (CSA). Armed with foresight, creativity and backed by a motivated personnel, Rohana Wellage formed a taleted team that has one goal in mind: "To Provide the Best Service in the Sri Lanka Air Cargo Industry"
Today, our group comprises of 04 successful business ventures. These partner organizations, are instilled with the same values of customer satisfaction, professionalism and affordability that have made Forwardair Aviation Group a success.

Nishantha Kothalawala - Director Sales & Operations
Nishantha joined our company in October 2013 who is an industry veteran with nearly 30 years experience, having worked in all related areas in air cargo. He commenced his carrier with the National Carrier (Air Lanka/Sri Lankan Airlines) in cargo operations and then moving on to marketing and sales whilst working at carriers such as Japan Airlines and Lufthansa. Prior to joining us he was the General Manager - Station Logistics/Cargo Operations, Lufthansa Cargo in CMB and MLE. During this period he has been extensively trained in air cargo management, sales, marketing, revenue optimization, handling of ULD and special cargo with special emphasis on freighter handling, etc. He has a proven track record as a very competent person with experience in all aspects of air cargo, sales, marketing and operations which is a rare combination. He is well known in the cargo industry as a key person who has taken the initiative to develop high standards in the industry in Sri Lanka
