Mr. A J R Anderson is the Chairman/Managing Director of the Forwardair Group of Companies. In 1980 he commenced his career in International Logistics and Freight Forwarding with Hill and Delamain as the Country Manager. After gaining valuable experience he ventured into setting up his own company namely Forwardair (Pvt) Ltd and 1995 set up a joint venture with Scanwell Logistics in Hongkong under the name and style of Scanwell Logistics Colombo Private Ltd. Subsequently he also initiated and setup the offices for Scanwell in Bangladesh and in India and presently manages offices in all 3 countries as the Managing Director. Mr. Anderson also functioned as the Vice President of Scanwell New York office for a period of almost 12 years.
